Cheap way to hook 2 HDD to mini PC with USB 3.2?

Looking for a cheap way (around $50) to run 2 3.5" HDDs with a mini PC. I have 2 2TB HDDs with my media ready to swap over to this mini PC to save on some power bills and have better performance.

I was looking at this but one of the comments mentions issues on linux like only 1 drive being usable. Amazon.com: SABRENT USB Type C SATA 2.5” & 3.5” Dual Bay Hard Drive Docking Station | Offline Cloning | Up to 5Gbps | Tool Free Installation (EC-CH2B) : Electronics

Is there anything you guys could recommend around the $50 price range for 2 drives? Appreciate it.

While this might not be the answer you are looking for… A 4TB SATA SSD is ~$175, and a 4TB SSD TLC NVMe is only ~$225. 2TB drives go from $100 and up currently. I would first look at replacing those aging drives with SSD storage.

However, if you insist on USB, USB 3.0 more than gets the job done, so just make it simple and buy two USB enclosures and a USB 3.0 hub?
