Cheap Linux server for watching Netflix

Hey, I'm looking for a cheap US-Linux Server that I could use as VPN and Proxy Sever to watch Netflix in Germany.
The server should probably meet the following requirements:
-Payment method: PayPal, PaySafe Card, debit or bank transfer ..... NO credit card, we don't really have those in Germany
-Server IP: from the USA
-Supports & allows: VPN- and Proxy utilities like OpenVPN
-No restrictions that limit watching Netflix through the Server in any way
-Upload speed: about 25 Mbit/s (~3MB/s)
-Download speed: about 25 Mbit/s (~3MB/s)
-Monthly download data: about 500GB
-Monthly upload data: about 500GB
-Monthly price: if possible below $15

If you'd say that setting this up on a Windows server is easy, then it wouldn't necessarily have to bo a Linux server. If it is a Linux server, then I'd prefer Ubuntu over everything else.

I already spent hours searching for something like this, but no one mentions their download & upload speeds. So I bought a server for 6 bucks that said "Gbit speeds" and got like 50KB/s when streaming Netflix through the VPN connection.

I use Zenmate in chrome when watchin netflix, it is a free in browser "VPN" I guess it is a proxy of sorts, so that is just the lazy man version of how to do it tho.

and I am not sure Zenmate doesn't do stuff with the traffic as it is free ,but, I haven't heard or read anything bad about them so I think they are green.
you have Romania,Germany,Hong Kong and The US for free but you had UK before they wanted money for stuff.

Yup agreed with @Goines, I use dotvpn.

Top tip, you don't need a VPN to watch netflix in different areas, you only need it to navigate the site and initially load the video. Once its streaming you can turn off the VPN and get your full bandwidth.

[not sure how much of a gray area this topic is]

No, that's exactly what Wendell keeps talking about, don't use the free vpn/proxy stuff. If it's free they log and harvest your data, inject viruses, ads or I don't even know. It is soo freaking easy, just watch this Defcon video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0QT4YJn7oVI&feature=youtu.be&t=8m13s

@Eden But you would have to constantly connect and disconnect to/from the proxy/vpn.. pretty much every time you want to watch a new/different video. Otherwise you'll get these errors: http://i.snag.gy/IdEWr.jpg

No one? :/

Don't use dodgy plugins then? Were not talking about protecting your data or privacy here. Were talking about loading regional videos off of netflix, there's no data to harvest.

Yeah that's true, constantly only being when you want to watch a new video though.
You're talking about the difference between paying for sufficient bandwidth and decent server to stream video for no really reason, or switching to a cheap VPN only to navigate the site.

If you really want a VPS for this, go for digital ocean or something. Or if you just want a VPN go for private internet access or similar. The latter giving you more options to switch country.
