As part of a new build, I want to bring in a new monitor. After hours of looking at different monitors and researching thoroughly, I still have not found one that I want and one that fits my budget. The problem is that the companies bring out a ton of monitors and most of the time there is nowhere which will actually supply me with a good review of a monitor. I know what makes a good monitor, but it's something where I like to see other people's opinions.
My budget is nothing over $150 (or nothing over £100 for us brits) and any suggestions of a monitor would be great!
size, resolution, connections preferences? type of use (gaming, video editing, photo editing, web browsing, office/excel)? type of installation/form factor?
i use a 22 inch samsung. T22C350 or something that i bought on sale over a year ago (below your budget). 1080p at 50p or 60p... two HDMI ports, a USB drive (can play some standard movie files and music/photos) and has an old style VGA connector. Works for me to connect a couple of laptops to when I'm at my desk. I'm not a gamer.
I use one of these http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/p/P9bbt6 not bad for £80
