Cheap Ass Gamimg Build UK

I really want to move from console gaming to PC gaming because of...well it's just better.

Anyway I have a budget of around £400 because I don't have much money cause I'm only young. I went to PC part picker and chose out some parts based on the A10-5800k http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/p/GYB0 just thought you guys might have been able to help me out and tell me if there are any upgrades I could make.

Wait for the "richland" APUs to come out next month. Also, a better motherboard will allow you to overclock, if you don't plan on overclocking, you don't really need an aftermarket cooler.

What motherboard would you suggest?

If you're going with an APU, then wait.

For the MoBo; get something like an Asrock FM2A75 Pro4-M.

An asus f2a5-v

That's also a good board, but are you sure you don't wanna wait another month or so?

I suppose I should possibly wait but will the price not be quite a lot higher and will it be fm2 or will it be new?

If you can spare a few extra dollars this is much more powerful for gaming

or if you really need it at 385 this one is still much more powerfull than the apu

New Richland APU's will still be on socket FM2, only a bit more powerfull and probably a 10 - 15 dollar difference.

But will they be able to compete with a descrete graphics card like in the links I posted above because they are the same cost as the apu build he is looking at

I don't think the graphical performance is going to improve dramatically, you're always better off with a descrete card.

Thats kind of what I was thinking maybe like a 10% increase in performace.  This build I think would be perfect for 3 euro more

I was going to add a 6670 at a later date to crossfire with the apu to improve performance but the apu itself would do until then

the two builds I did above with the 7750 and 7770 are cheaper then a10 and 6670 and offer better performace

A lot better than the FM2 option, will play games like BF3 maxxed out.

If you're planning NOT to overclock, if you are going to overclock you'll need an aftermarket cooler.

He had windows 7 in there too so yours is like 100 more then what he originally posted

Still better than the FM2 build.

Will play BF3 on Ultra at 1080P around 30-40 FPS.

I have edited the build slightly and I do plan on over clocking so I am keeping the cooler http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/p/H2Sd
