ok so i just got a new mobo it is a m5a97 le r2.0 asus mobo and it is giving me a chassis intrude fatal error i am haveing to press alt and delete and turn it off and on then it will let me press f2 to reboot and have to chosse my harddrive to start my programs on again so i can reboot it this happens all the time any help guys? :D
did you check if there is a chasis intrusion jumper on the motherboard, and thats sits in the right posistion?
By the sound of it you'll have to disable it in the BIOS, there should be a setting called "warn when case has been opened" or something like that you can go ahead and disable that (it checks if the pc case has been opened how they do that is beyond me though)
Once you disable it you should no longer get that error.
