I have an HP Envy 6 sleekbook. Its an A6 with an integrated Radeon 7500G which shares its memory with my laptop. Right now, its only using 512MB of my Ram. I have 4GB of ram in this laptop, is there a way to allow my GPU to use more than the 512 its using now?
I have crap HP Bios. So no, theres no bios option.
Thanks for any help.
Can you take out some of your ram and check how much it's using then if it changes then add more ram.
I only have one 4gig stick ATM, so I cant really do that. That's a good idea though, if i cant find another way to do it, I'll just buy another stick, Either way, it's a performance boost.
mobile varients are capped at 512MB while desktops are capped at 1GB, another stick will let you have more windows ram dual channel will boost bandwidth for the CPU/APU so that should boost performance with another 4GB stick

might want to check the MoBo manufactuar page to check if it supports 1866, if so you might want to get a 2x4GB set of that
