Changing BF3 game file path

basicaly i want to copy the BF3 game files to a different hd i had lying around to see if it loads quicker because my main one is very slow. but the thing is when i want to play online and i choose a server through battlelog it will always load from the original path (C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\Battlefield 3) when i want to load from 'Z:\battlefield 3'

so does anyone know how to edit it? i don't realy want to delete the original directory incase it's faster and i want to go back to it but i just copy and pasted it.

First of all, get rid of it in C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\Battlefield 3. Then go though the origin options and choose Z: one of, if not the directory. Finally launch bf3 (u may need to have it install) and when you join a server you will need to launch the origin installer once again and then it will work.
