Changed graphics card, now ethernet is broken?!

Hi there,

Got a real head scratcher at the moment, I'll just run you through from the top:

  1. Ran DDU
  2. Booted into safe mode (without networking)
  3. Shutdown, change cards
  4. Boot
  5. Ethernet Borked
  6. Install drivers anyway
  7. GPU works normally

Any ideas?

Some relevant info:
OS: Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit
MB: Maximus VI Hero (Intel NIC)
also running a desktop based VPN (Cyberghost)
