i pretty much never seen many (if any) posts or threads about phones or anything. just wondering, is no one in RTW interested in them? i have a shitty free flip phone from tmobile and i've been looking at some phones i should get. smart phones are turning into basically mini computers that are fun to play with when i'm out and about.
even though the HTC Dream (G1) has a weird look with it's "chin," it still looks like a really good phone to play with. it has touch screen as well as a qwerty keypad.
and samsung is releasing the memoir, a slick looking phone with an 8MP camera which is damn good for a phone. sucks that it's most likely going to cost at least $500 off contract.
just a couple of fun phones that i'd want for tmobile..
the biggest problem with all this is the pricing. i'm probably not going to be able to get any of these phones for awhile until i can save up more. oh well, i'm off to micky d's for some lunch and i'll see if i can get a job there as well. D:
lol i have at&t and am getting convinced to get the iphone but the new one should be coming out.. also i really want the G1!!!!! but it is really expensive when unlocked. so right now i am just waiting but the nvidia phone may be something ill have to look into.
i used my cousin's iphone. it really gets annoying when typing stuff without a real qwerty pad. and when you need to replace the iphone's battery it becomes the biggest pain in the ass if you DIY, or end up paying someone else big $$ to do it.
HTC touch diamond2 and touch pro2 was announced, but that's for like AT&T i think. ends up costing way too much trying to get one off contract and/or unlocked.
the nvidia phone, i'm not gonna pay attention to at all until i actually see a review on it and it's price tag.
also ferman, wtf@the G1 not having a 3.5mm headphone jack? i heard they started giving free mini-usb adapters with it though. but it ends up looking ugly dangling off the side. but it's still a really good phone, i just gotta try to get a discount from my friend who works at the tmobile booth. lolll
i haven't really cared about getting a good phone until now, since i'm making SOME money. lol
the blackberry phones are good for emails, im'ing, texting, all around web browsing, watching some videos and listening to some music, along with being an actual phone of course. essentially a little computer with internet access 24/7.
the same goes for any other new smartphone out there, like the G1. but, the G1 has a touch screen and what not.
besides thomas, you live in europe. they have much better phones in asia/europe than we do here. so it's either that or the fact that most people don't care for a phone that's $400 is probably why you don't see many people using it.
