Has anyone been experiencing poor performance after updating to the 15.7.1 drivers? Ever since I updated to Windows 10 and updated my drivers for my R9 270X, I have experienced a drastic downgrade in framerate with Battlefield 4, and would sometimes crash to a white screen. A friend of mine runs an R9 280 and is even having trouble with CS:GO now, and we never had these problems with the previous drivers. I'm definitely going to the Green Team when I purchase my next graphics card.
i have not. I'm using current drivers with CF msi 290x LE and 2x 290x OC Gigabyte.
I've seen boost in performance.
Try using older drivers, amd did specify some issues on them.
Could just be DirectX 12. I'm running the R9 290 Tri-X card. I am experiencing occasional crashes, between different things. This is growing pains with a new Windows OS. It is going to happen. Ew green team, I boycott them over proprietary bs.
@anon5205053 @Screamapillar So after checking my driver folder, I had the latest 14.X omega drivers as well as 15.7.1. After deleting that entire folder and reinstalling current drivers, all of my issues have been resolved. I had my buddy with the R9 280 problems try it too last night and it worked for him as well. Thanks for insight.
