Cat 6 or 6a?

Hi, I need some advice on cabling. Ill be running few copper 10gbe connections around the house. Cable length will vary from 1,5m up to 20-25m. I plan to rout the cables through the attic and want to do it once and forget about it. Now the question is, should I use cat6 or get 6a? I already have a spool of outdoor cat6 for different stuff but Ill have plenty left.

Just use the leftover 6, there's no reason for you to use 6a even if you didn't already have a spool of 6, you're not gonna hit the throughput limit inside an apartment with those distances.

Cat 6a is just more consistent cat 6 in practice, so just try the cat 6 and see if it has any problems. For runs that short you probably wouldn't even be able to tell the difference. Just use the cat 6.

cat 6 can only do 10gb over short distances.

I would go for 6e if you want a 10g network, otherwise go for 5e
