Looking to buy a new case, as I am upgrading my gpu.
Things I need: Able to fit my GPU: http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814125684&cm_re=geforce_gtx_970-_-14-125-684-_-Product Able to ship to Canada.
Things I would like: Easy cable management.(duh) If it comes with blue LEDs that would be awesome to match my gpu's leds and my ram heatsinks. Glass side panel. Within the 50-100 dollar range.
I'm currently looking at this case, http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811119256 , feel free to tell me of any good or bad experiences you've had with this case, if you think I should get it, or recommend me a case that you like if it fits what i want for the case :D
I have a couple fans that I can take out of my old case, not sure of the size, they just came with the pc. If not I can pick up some from future shop, fans aren't too expensive.
431 Case supports cards up to 315mm, gpu is 312mm (with the hdd bays). So yeah you're cutting it very close. I'd remove the 3.5" cage completely and run hdd's etc in the 5.25" bays.
CM cases are generally pretty good in terms of build quality. The cable management in the 431 is pretty ordinary though, nothing that some cable ties and time cant remedy.
