Case transportation Dilema

Well, in a few weeks I will be heading down to visit my buddy for new years. So far I have thought of purchasing some parts and taking that in my carry-on in the plane.
So far I was thinking of an APU build and throwing my current RAM in the build to save a bit of money.

Although I could get better GPU performance by going with this build.

Another option would be throw my i5-4690K with the motherboard, RAM, and SSD/HDD in my desktop and still pick up the case and GPU.

Lastly, I could just suck it up and take my laptop and play some games at lowest quality

Laptop.

Unless this is a 3 month vacation or something crazy like that, then its pretty silly to mess with the desktop.

With any lucky the vacation will keep you preoccupied and you will not even be playing any games.

Well, all we are doing is hanging out, make some drinks, play some games and perhaps go a couple of places.
