So I bought myself a prebuilt on Newegg to get myself into gaming. I live in California and it's about 100 degrees daily. The computer came with ONE fan that exhausts out the back. I have room for 2 more on the side panel and that's it. 120mm for those 2. One stacked on top of the other. It's an Avatar Gaming machine and the case says Enermax on it. That's all I know.... I need help figuring out a good cooling setup for NOW because I will be upgrading to a full tower and then changing to a fullsize ATX board and the PSU as well soon but until I get back to work (healing from foot surgery) I only have so much money. I don't want to burn my new toy alive. So like I said I have 2 open 120mm spots available and don't know whether to set them both to pull air in or push air out or to set one to push and the other to pull.
Oh the horror! say it isn't so..... sorry .... is it this one?
if so .. then it may have a place to mount a fan in the front behind the drive cages ... if not ... on the side mount the bottom to intake and the top to exhaust ... t it is probably already kinda loud so I would use ... two of these
Noctua NF-S12B redux-1200 59.1 CFM 120mm 19dbA Fan
And feel free to ask us about upgrade options ... you would be surprised how good these guys are at getting more for your money. Plus we are bored and need something to do ... lol
Hahaha thanks guys. I want to get a full tower soon here and then transfer all this stuff over but I just can't at the moment and kinda want to get the Tower, PSU, and Mobo upgraded all at the same time.
And to my surprise it isn't that loud at all. I almost always have audio of some kind playing so I rarely hear the fan spinning.
