Case Fan Cable Help

I have a new corsair storm trooper stryker. I am following the book for case fan cable setup. The front 2 fans have correct power cables and LED cables (for fan controller). The top fan only has a power cable. This one splits into two because it fits 1 200mm or 2 120mm fans. Can I use this split cable for the 200 and the back 140? If yes, I only have 1 extra cable, it is an LED cable. I feel like it goes to something but there are no extra cables.

Overall my questions are:

Can I split the 200mm cable for 200mm and 140mm?

What is this extra LED cable for? (btw its 2 pin female)

Thanks!

If you're talking about the presplit cable (the one that plugs into the 200mm fan but also has a free socket if you choose to attach two 140mm fans) then by adding a 200mm and a 140mm neither will receive enough power to run at full speed. I doubt it would cause any sort of damage (don't quote me on that), the only drawback is the fans will be running at a lower speed than the rest.

If it's the cable I'm thinking of I have it plugged into my motherboards HDLED slot on the system header.

I might also add that I found the instructions and labelling of cords on this case make it an absolute pain to put together. Hope this helps, good luck!

Thanks. Yeah that power stuff was what I was worried about. I and ok thanks, I don't have my motherboard yet cuz im getting it for Christmas. Thanks!

There is something you can look into I just found if you run into problems with the wattage.

This is a three way splitter that draws extra power from a molex connecter. It's made to run all case fans off the one CPU header but I doubt it would be a problem plugging that into the fan controller.
