Ok so i got the Thermaltake MS/I Snow edition ATX Mid Tower. It only has 2 gold screws for the motherboard. So i was like ok no problem cos PCPartPicker said they were compatible. So i went ahead and bought an Asrock 960GM MicroATX motherboard. Not sure how to install it with only 2 gold screws. Help ?
You sure there's not bags of other screws? And are you speaking of the stand offs or actual screws? If you can take some pictures of all the bags of screws you have and show us on here.
case from the inside ... as you can see theres this one annoying screw that pops out. http://photos.expertreviews.co.uk/images/front_picture_library_Expert_Reviews/dir_322/er_photo_161023_52.jpg

Have you read the manual to see which screws it says to use where? If you've verified that you don't have the proper screws, then contact the manufactuer.
I think it's becuase it's an ATX mid tower and my motherboard is micro ATX.. what do you think ?
Hello, I have the same case, and it fits both ATX and Micro ATX, the case came with a bag full of all kinds of screws, even with spare ones. If the bag is not in there, you should contact Thermaltake or whoever sold you that case,
A mid tower ATX case should have the proper mounting holes for a micro ATX. I wouldn't worry about compatibility, we just need to get you those stand offs!
i do have the bag, but the bag only has 2 standoffs.
any help ?
HELP DAMMNIT
like I said, did you read the manual and compare what it says to do with what items you have to do it with?
the manual is not helping. read it like 3 times still nothing. however the manual says i should use screws on the motherboad and didnt show standoffs. i wonder how the guy above installed it.
What's the smallest case that I can get but still supports the corsair h100i, corsair h90, or corsair h80?
Are you sure the case didn't come with the 100% necessary stand offs pre installed? I know some stand offs will be universally used no matter what form factor motherboard you have, so that's a possiblility. Past this point I couldn't really think of much more. You could buy more stand offs. But I would rather call the company and see what they have to say. Keep us updated.
fuck off this post and make your own
Can't you buy stand offs seperately at a PC store?
i don't think so. but it really sucks that theres no video on youtube to teach you about this case
