Caps Incoming for Comcast Users

Just recently switched to Comcast from AT&T as they provide higher speeds in my area and not 10 days after the switch do I see these articles:

I use about 300+ GB a week so this is a rather scary prospect. Hopefully those in the trial areas will lash out against these caps.

Your very optimistic in people. Them lashing out would assume they understand just how much bandwidth they use and that they have the ability to cut through the bullshit lies of 300GB is enough for 90% of our users

Why 300GB a week? @Gungthar

300+GBs per week??? you are referring to your company using that much, right? Riiight? Hmm, that article did say home customers... What in Schrodinger's cat are you using that much data on? I don't reach 300 a month unless I go... Sailing... In the Caribbean... With friends...

To address the actual point in hand, I advise you steel yourself for the fees because they're coming. Don't expect people to know anything about how the internet's infrastructure works. Don't expect them to demand fair business practices. Don't expect them to stand on any rights. This is the U.S., after all.
