Hey guys(girls)
so I just fnished building my new rig yesterday and I have had a Mac for the last years.
So I've put all my data from the Mac on my external WD Elements 1,5TB and Win 7 lists it in devices and disk management, but it doesn't show up in 'Computer'
Any ideas?
You need a driver for windows to read mac formatted (HFS+) drives. Ubuntu can do it just fine, though :)

They use diffrent formats. You have to use a mac put back your info and format your disk to fat32 and then put back the info onto the drive.
ok thanks. That really sucks. The conversion from PC to Mac 3 yeras ago with the hdd was much easier. Since the mac can read windows formatted hdds.
But this means, that I can't get my data from the mac onto the pc?
Just find a mac put your data into the mac then format the drive to fat32 and then put your data to the drive. mac can read windows formats but windows cant read mac.
but mac can't write windows fat32? or can it?
ok, thanks to Tellow Krinkle my Win 7 can now read mac hdds :)
I just waited to restart, since I was installing something.
Thanks Tellow!!!
