Can't disable keyboard shortcut ubuntu

So I open CompizConfig Settings Manager and when I disable 'window menu' which is 'Alt space', its still persists after I disable it which is annoying because I accidentally hit the combo in a game I play and it tabs me out. Is there any way to properly disable it?

I'd imagine you can remap any short cut in standard keyboard settings rather than compiz?
Haven't used Ubuntu/Unity in years, someone chime.

Open System Settings, go to Keyboard, second tab Shortcuts, choose Windows from the left menu, the first shortcut Activate the window menu -- choose a new combination.

Yeah that did the trick, don't know why I exclusively relied on compiz, cheers guys.
