Can't Connect to Default Gateway

My default gateway is 172.27.128.1

I have no idea why, but when I put that in the address bar it just says, "This site can't be reached"

I'm on windows 8.1

That just means your default gateway isn't running a web server, which is not surprising.

what is your router. default gateway is just where the computer connects to get internet.

What are you trying to do?

First explain what your trying to accomplish, also screen capture your ifconfig /all (only show the adapter you are using for this connection), don't need the others. We need to see why it's not giving you the site that the router or modem provides.

ipconfig /all -> windows
ifconfig -> OSX
ip a -> linux (ifconfig has been depricated)
