OK im going to copy and paste the thread i put in overclock.net that got no replies, lol. When I try to boot it goes through the screen looks like its checking everything and I have to hit F1 to continue, then it goes to a similar screen that says a bunch of things.Â
After this it will go to the Windows Error Recovery and when I press Start Normally it will go to a certain point then the screen just says No Video Input and it restarts...
I have tried booting with 1 stick and 2 sticks of RAM, next im going to try another GPU
Any suggestion though?
The LED things says FF so it doesnt have an error according to that.. even though it wont boot
EDIT: Right before it reboots it shows a blue screen that i dont have time to read
and the HDD is OK because the only new parts i have put in is the 780i and the Q9550 and RAM
*after trying some stuffI have booted with 1 stick of RAM using both sticks in the slot and iv tried to boot with both.
I have tried 2 different graphics cards.
I just took out the CPU and put it back in which was a pain because of the heatsink.
And it still just goes to that blue screen for a split second that i cant read and then restarts. It will get halfway there but then just restarts.
Iv replaced the power plug to my HDD and the SATA cord and iv tried all of the above, so I have no clue what is wrong
If you know please give me an idea
OK well it turns out the Blue Screen just saysÂ
A problem has been detected and your computer must be shut down to avoid damage or something
and then it tells me to run checkdisk
so i still have no clue what to do
I have also set my RAM to 2.0v instead of 1.8 because i read somewhere that will help
Gskill DDr2 800Mhz
it didnt help
-- The three lights or whatever on the board above the RAM
of course the one is blue to show power
but the ones above it: the one on the right is green, and the one on the left is orange
idk what that means
and when i turn it on or off a red one pops up for a seconds near the heatsink and here is my current setup:
