I’m trying to set up Ubuntu on an Fujitsu esprimo e910.
Using a bootable USB stick, I have installed Ubuntu 20.04.2 on an NVME SSD which I put into a PCIe-slot with an adapter. Instalation processes was successful but when I tried to reboot, the system does not see the ssd as a boot-option and keeps trying to boot via PXE. In the Bios setup I can not choose any boot option priority other then PXE.
How can I make this work?!?
Given its age I’m going to guess that the BIOS doesn’t support booting off NVME. You will probably need to at least boot the Linux kernel before being able to access the NVME drive which you can do off a USB-flash drive or such.
