ok so first off every time i boot i get
"firmware bug tsc_deadline disable update to microcode version 0x22 (or later)
couldn’t get size 0x00000000000… ect
modsign couldnt get uefi db list"
second my ssd which has my OS on it wont mount or boot. for a while i was getting some errors which i could fix with fsck but now im getting
"sudo fsck /dev/sdf1
fsck from util-linux 2.30.1
e2fsck 1.43.5 (04-Aug-2017)
fsck.ext2: Input/output error while trying to open /dev/sdf1
The superblock could not be read or does not describe a valid ext2/ext3/ext4
filesystem. If the device is valid and it really contains an ext2/ext3/ext4
filesystem (and not swap or ufs or something else), then the superblock
is corrupt, and you might try running e2fsck with an alternate superblock:
e2fsck -b 8193
or
e2fsck -b 32768
"
and the drive will only show up if i hot plug it in. the drive size shows
500 GB (500107862016 bytes)
but the partitions are using
500105184768 bytes
and i also have 50 bad sectors btu the device shows up as ok?
it’s ext 4 lvm.
“sudo e2fsck -b 8193 /dev/sdf1” did something the first time i ran it but now wont work.
also originally the location of the drive was /dev/dm-0 and now it’s sdf1?
when i run “sudo e2fsch -b 8193 /dev/dm-0” i get
"sudo e2fsck -b 8193 /dev/dm-0
e2fsck 1.43.5 (04-Aug-2017)

It looks like the drive is dying. More importantly, lvm does not seem yo be managing the drive anymore. The arch wiki is your friend. I would look for a replacement drive now.
yea i havent even come close to 100 much less multiple hundreds. most the data stayed put once it was written and this was my downloads folder but maybe downloaded 2-3 tb of data over the life of the drive tops.
