A wireless Canon Pixma printer has been hacked to run classic video game Doom. The hack was carried out by security researcher Michael Jordon, and it took four months to get the game running on the hardware. He said he had undertaken the project to demonstrate the security problems surrounding devices that would form the "internet of things".
I seriously want to see a guide to "update" my canon printer and i hope They will include Doom as a feature in their new Products!
Not a chance, you're going to need an Epson Stylist Pro 7880 at minimum to run Crysis at 30fps. I got a Stylist Pro 11880 and can squeeze out 55fps during intense moments.
You do realize Doom came out when the 486dx was popular and getting a Pentium meant you were "a rich kid". I was in college when all that happened. I remember the birth of the internet.
