Canadian ISPs Now Have to Share Fibre Networks to Competitors

Wednesday CTRC declares in court ruling that Fibre networks must share with competitors. Yes now Canadian internet will be cheaper and better and now we wont treat these lucky fools living in olds alberta as gods with their awesome gigabit (well maybe still for 10 years). Anybody who watches the tek knows this is good.

Call me lazy but i don't want to rewrite the articel click the link.

This is going to be very good, but at the pace it takes for things to happen and trickle down to consumers it's going to be long wait before we get faster and cheaper internet

why did you have to crush my dreams.........................

Sorry, but I've learnt to be critical and doubtful of things governments and corporations say until they happen and I see the effects. Regarding the internet and things not happening as they were supposed to, look at the famous 200 billion dollar broadband scandal

your so right, but, a man is entitled to hope isnt he?

Naturally yes - keep hoping, hope is good

maybe somebody should start a petition to make detrimental consequences when isps wont listen because we know they wont and the government will probably point an indirect finger and not do anything.
