Can you create a RAID 1 array without loosing data?

I'm doing a build for a friend and he's got a 1tb hard drive with all his stuff on it. Is it possible to create a soft RAID 1 array in windows with his hard drive and another 1tb hard drive without loosing any data?

Colonel Paincake, you keep tricking me, making me think there is another Maks Haxs, or other CaptainPancakes glory.

I am a forum n00b. Please enlighten me.

Bump, I need an actual solution...

I don't believe that there is any way to do that.  The easiest way to setup a raid 1 array would be to image the drive that has all the data to another drive. then go into the bios and setup a raid 1 array. then put that image on to the raid array.

Why do you think you need a Raid 1 volume ?

But yes, some quick googling confirmed you have no data loss.
