my processor is the "AMD Athlon X4 750K Trinity 3.4 ghz" Is this goanna be enough to run elder scrolls online. I have a budget build that is already shipping out. im just trying to see if it can play elder scrolls on low settings tell i buy better parts for this. i posted another forum in the gpu section that i also i need help on. im needing a gpu for cheap that can run Elder Scrolls online. Im looking for a gpu in the 75$ or less price range. But my question here is is this cpu goanna work. i am new to pc gaming and dont know how to tell what cpu and gpu can run what games. Thanks to anyone that can help
Yes the CPU will work. But if you can save up a tiny more money for the GPU, say around $120, you will be getting a really big performance boost.
The 750k and something like a 7770 should give a reasonable level of gaming performance in any game. Ideally, you would want to purchase a R7 260x to ensure that you get a satisfactory experience. The 260x will be closer to $100. It's worth saving for a half-decent GPU
is there a specific brand that i should use on this purchase?
Get whatever is convenient/cheap. Just ensure that it has a decent cooling unit.
does the 1gb or 2gb thing matter. sorry for the noobie questions
Vram is balanced with the performance of the card. Additional Vram on the same GPU doesn't necessarily produce a performance benefit/ However, I would grab the card with higher Vram if it was reasonably priced. It might be of some use, but you shouldn't be overally concerned about it.
The choice of GPU should be your main consideration. e.g A 1GB 260x would beat a 2GB 260 (non-X).
R7 265 > R7 260x > R7 260 > R7 250 etc etc Regardless of Vram
Well another problem im running into is my power supply is 480W one brand said 500W + im looking at the msi board now but it does not list a power supply requirment. i am looking into buying a 260x
I would recomend posting both threads in one in the build a PC forum next time but yea CPU is fine, GPU you were looking at was a piece of trash not worth touching. Saving more and picking up a GTX 750 or equivilent if you can put the extra money together or pick up a second hand GTX 560 or above. Just remember The 5 is generation, the 6 is the level of performance. A GTX 660 will outperform a 560 but a 650 wont out perform a 560. Just keep an eye out for a good second hand GPU if you really cant buy something like a 750
with a 480W power supply can i add this gpu to my setup "EVGA 01G-P4-2751-KR GeForce GTX 750 1GB 128-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 Video Card"
