Can someone take a look at my PC build?

Hey can someone take a look at my PC build? I am worried that the GPU wont fit in the case so i just thought I would ask. Also what games could I run on it? I how hoping for Skyrim on Max.

is your budget £300?

Not particuly. I just want it to be rather cheap.

This is the cheapest i'd consider for gameing.

The motherboard and the case supports usb 3.0 the case allso has nice cooling.

You should never buy cheap power supplies thay will give you no end of problems and the risk of them killing your computer.

The HD7770 will be a lot better than a GT 640

Okay. I have taken some of your suggestions onboard. I have kept the same RAM and HDD. I have a few HDD's lying about that I can use anyway and I would rather have 1 ram module so if I upgrade I have a free slot. What sort of proformance would I get in-game? Say playing Skyrim? Also whats the diffrence between the AMD you chose and the AMD I chose? It seamed the same only cheaper. Thanks

I would save up some more money because with haswell comming out you might be able to get some better parts for a little bit more in the next month or so

what resolution will you be playing at? 720p or 1080p 19" monitor or larger?

Allso Phenom cpus have support up to 1333Mhz ram (you can overclock the ram to 1600Mhz with them this is dependant on the cpu some will run fine with 1600Mhz some dont like it)

EDIT  the cpu you picked is 140w vershon the one i picked is a 125w vershon the picked  mobos dont take 140w cpus  you need a more expensive mobo for them max TDP for them is 125w

Okay thanks. Im playing on my TV I use it for a moniter. I plan to play on 720p too have good proformance and FPS.

@alic17kink. I'm getting it at the end of July

get two four gig sticks if you want 8 gigs of ram. take advantage of those RAM channels. also- while I haven't played skyrim, I doubt a 640 will run it at max. try a 7850 or 7870. Nvida doesn't really compeat price-to-power wise until you hit the 670-680 against the 7950 and 7970.

the Motherboard and power supply are both kinda meh, I'd drop the CiT PSU for a better brand, just a bit more and it won't fry your computer, and grab a 970 chipset Mobo.

What I'd do:

7870- http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/p/11BHQ (£435)

7850- http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/p/11BHk (£405)

I know from hands on experiance that the 7870 will run most games on high settings at the very least. 30-60 FPS. it'll hold up to anything you chuck at it. the 7850? never had any hands on. math says its a good card though, you'll see the differance in texture filtering though. the 7870 renders those 45% faster then the 7850.

I have seen a 6670 run skyrim @40-50fps @720p first hand down at my local pc shop (stock skyrim no mods) lol he tryed to sell it to me i only whent in for some blank cd's.

A hd7770 will run most games at 1080p if you lower the setings a little the 640 is redundant now as a gameing card anless all you play is inde games

I was thinking of moving over to the "Corsair Builder 430W 80 PLUS Certified ATX12V Power Supply"? What do you guys think?

There both reasonable PSU's at that price point haveing the extra 450w over the 430w is allways a bonus

Okay, Ill stick with the current one. It gives more room for future upgrade. Thank you for all your help guys! If I were to upgrade it afterwords are the Black Friday/Cyber Monday sales worth waiting for?

local pc fair's are useualy better i go to one by me every couple of months there dirt cheap

I have not heard of any in scotland.
