Can someone help me overclock my 3570k? ='c

Please help? i got my 3570k to 4.2ghz with offset volts of -0.115 and im gettting core voltages of 1.184.

i then took the offset to -0.15 and i then got core volts of 1.176...where should i set the offset to get the core volts to drop to a more reasonable core voltage like 1.11 or 1.12

every time i run a stress test like prime95 or intel burn the core voltage drops to 1.28 to 1.08, and after the test stops the core voltage goes right back up to 1.84 or 1.76.

My specs:

CPU i5-3570k

CPU Cooler: XIGMATEK Dark Knight II

Motherboard: AsRock Oc Formula

SSD: OCZ Vertex 4

RAM: Crucial Ballistix Tactical Tracer 8Gb

i give anyother info that may be helpful...just ask

Look for a setting called CPU Load Line Calibration (LLC). Setting it to Normal usually allows vdroop(voltage drop) and High allows very little vdroop. Start with normal, and work your way up to High etc until you get the desired voltage.

Vdroop explained

i have 5 setting om the load line calibration 1-5...it dost seem to make a difference switching from 5 to 1 the rasing the offset..it still mentins a core volt of 1.176. and drops when i stress test it but when test is over it goes back up..

im using intel burn test...should i be using prime 95 and run the stress tess for long period of times?

I haven't had much luck with offset voltage. Just set the LLC to 1 or 2 and define the cpu voltage yourself.

you mean fixed voltage...dont know much about messing with fixed voltage. i might go on youtube and watch some video on overclocking 3570k with fixed voltage..ty for the suggestion
