Can reactos do more than wine?

Hi,

just wanted to know if reactOS can run significantly more win programs than wine can.

I know that reactOS uses parts from wine. But has anyone ever tried reactOS or is there maybe a page where I can see what is working on reactOS and what is not working?

The major advantage is that ReactOs can run native windows drivers.

here is an excerpt of their wikipage

It does not attempt or plan to compete with WINE; in fact, the user-mode part of ReactOS is almost entirely WINE-based and our two teams have cooperated closely in the past. ..."

I know a Farmer that uses ReactOS to run ancient win2k milking-machine control software. He paid the ReactOS guys 1000 Bucks to make a driver work, instead of  millions for a new machine park. (Vendor went bust so no more support)
