Can passtrough GPU to guest, but when installing nvidia drivers it breaks

Hello all, using archwiki article on passing GPU i successfully passed it to guest VM. But when trying to install Nvidia drivers in xubuntu it installs, and on restart its no signal, but i can SSH in it. Also on Win10 VM i can boot and when i tried to install nvidia drivers in middle of install no picture, then “no signal” message.
Tried all that XML editing

<domain type='kvm' xmlns:qemu='http://libvirt.org/schemas/domain/qemu/1.0'>

and on lover part

  <qemu:commandline>
    <qemu:arg value='-cpu'/>
    <qemu:arg value='host,hv_time,kvm=off,hv_vendor_id=null'/>
  </qemu:commandline>

and also

  <features>
    <acpi/>
    <apic/>
    <hyperv>
      <relaxed state='on'/>
      <vapic state='on'/>
      <spinlocks state='on' retries='8191'/>
      <vendor_id state='on' value='1234567890ab'/>
    </hyperv>
    <kvm>
      <hidden state='on'/>
    </kvm>
    <vmport state='off'/>
    <ioapic driver='kvm'/>
  </features>

with some parts or without.
Tryed also doing it on Win10 guest i can boot in it, but when isntalling drivers it just became no signal at some point in installation.

EDIT
Sorry about formating i am not used to posting.

Hei, if you find out what is wrong please let me know! I am having a very similar problem with my Windows 10 VM and installing any AMD driver newer than 20.4.2.

For today i found out that i have need official Nvidia driver installed on host, so when i install drivers in plain guest i don’t get screen blackout and if i add

    <kvm>
      <hidden state='on'/>
    </kvm>

i get black screen with “no signal”. But i successfully installed drivers.

i finally did it, after 3 days of ignoring family, health and everything else.
I don’t know what thing fixed it, but i restarted UEFI settings to defaults and change some things i am sure off like virtualization on, CSM off, that default gpu would be onboard iGPU etc. and finally got normal picture in linux and windows guest.

What video card are you using for the host? You dont need to have the nvidia drivers installed on the host for it to work correctly. You can also unblacklist the nouveau driver or install the nvidia driver for your 2 GPU that runs linux. Are you properly having vfio grab the nvidia card during boot?

Also you need to make sure you have your 2nd GPU selected as your primary in the bios. This prevents a black screen during boot times.
