Can my network handle a 10-man LAN party

I'm unsure 100% where I should ask this but I'll ask here.
I am having a party with a bunch of friends (up to 10, so lets bank for the worst-case) at my house. We would all be trying to play LAN-based games but if we play some online games like LoL or something we'd have to go through their servers instead. I wanted to know if with my internet speeds I'd be able to manage to host that many people. Nobody would be downloading or streaming anything.

(I know it's slow, but I'll be getting a new router soon to help improve it, but as of right now how do I stand?)

Your internet is plenty fast enough. What you really have to worry about is whether or not your router can handle 10 dudes playing at once. I would recomend getting a network switch for future parties.
