Can my network handle a 10-man LAN party

I'm unsure 100% where I should ask this but I'll ask here.
I am having a party with a bunch of friends (up to 10, so lets bank for the worst-case) at my house. We would all be trying to play LAN-based games but if we play some online games like LoL or something we'd have to go through their servers instead. I wanted to know if with my internet speeds I'd be able to manage to host that many people. Nobody would be downloading or streaming anything.

(I know it's slow, but I'll be getting a new router soon to help improve it, but as of right now how do I stand?)

Any help would be awesome, thanks guys!

The main reason the onternet is slow is due to the attenuation of sognal over the last mile. What type of switch do you have? Your internet speed should be fine for the lan aslong as no one is downloading.

No problem. As long as they don't start youtubing or downloading entire games it will be more than enough.
