My laptop has this bluetooth device on it and I can use it to connect to the internet through my phone, it's using WIDCOMM bluetooth software and Asus' wireless console 3. If I buy a Bluetooth USB Dongle for my Desktop PC, will it work the same way as the bluetooth device on my laptop? I really want to buy the MSI Z87-G45 Gaming motherboard since it's cheaper than the ASUS Z87 Pro. The ASUS Z87 Pro comes with built in WIFI and Bluetooth while the MSI Z87-G45 Gaming motherboard does not; I don't think it's necessary to spend an extra fifty dollars on built in WIFI and bluetooth, a Bluetooth USB Dongle only cost around three to five dollars. I don't use WIFI, just bluetooth for cheap internet.
Yes. I'm not sure of the particulars. But something to do with a PAN network.
You mean like tethering?
You can tether your phone to your pc so you can use the internet though your phones data plan. However, depending on your Carrier, and the ToS you signed for your phone when signing up, they may not allow you to tether without additional fees or even at all.
Also, how is it cheap internet?
One dollar per day, it's that cheap and it's also fast, I don't often use the internet, so I get to save money. I had a monthly plan back then, but I realized that I don't use it a lot and it was a waste of money. I can play online multiplayer games with it too.
