Can I Defrag a SSHD Drive (Hybrid Drives)

Hi, I am currently thinking about purchasing a 'Solid State Hybrid Drive'. It occurred to me that i should be able de-fragment it ,can I?

I'm pretty sure that i can, due to the actual Solid State bit is just the cache.

Thanks in advanced - Dom.

I am no expert on the topic, but from what i've heard you can defrag the HDD part, however it might not be needed due to the SSD cache. Some manufacturers simply advise not the defrag the drive as much as you would with a normal HDD. When you defrag the HDD the SSD cache needs to rebuild which will decrease performance until it is rebuild.
