Has anyone owned this card and would recommend it? I might use it in an ITX build for a buddy.

Price range would like to stay at about $900

 

EVGA has really good rep and its because they make some really sweet cards. 

Here's a review and some benchmarks if you're interested.

Its very important to think about what games you're gonna be playing, and see if you think the performance is satisfactory. In my person opinion, its a good card and overclocks decently enough.

EVGA is a good brand, but for the same price you can also get a 7870XT. can also be intressting, wenn it comes to only gaming performance. try if you can find some bench marks comparred a 7870XT VS that EVGA card. just to looks wich one performs best.

wenn he deffanetly want to stick by Nvidia, then that card  looks good for the price.
