Can anyone identify my Ping spike issues? (See Image within)

This is a test I was told to run to try and identify my ping issues, I notice that one timed out and a few seemed to jump up a little but not much, does anyone see anything wrong with this? The last few days, I've had my ping go to 999 twice, its very rare but kinda annoying so I want to try sort it out, my ping is usually in the high 20s low 30s.

What kind of network doe you have? And what kind of provider? Also cable or not? And Wifi or ethernet?
What router or switches etc?

I am with BT (British ISP) I am using Ethernet for my PC, everyone else in the house is WiFi. I use the regular router they gave us, the rest is just default setup that they provided. I'm not on Fibre, just standard, Speed test is usually fixed, I always get 30 ping, 17 down and 1.5 up.

So you do use copper? (No sattalite or something like that)

Nah its underground copper

hey mate, last time i had a ping related issue i found out "jitter" was a thing... google it? maybe that will help you?

Good luck.

Have you tried tracing/testing any other address than speedguide.net?

Speedguide is located in the US, while you're in the UK. Try doing a more local test first.

Which kind of dns servers are you using?
