if i can just tie it to inverter to top off the batteries if solar isnt doing enough… then ill be fine with that.
Whats the wattage of the rack, on the solar system workload
(im guessing its “low” for security systems)
$12-35k : is not a crazy number for a full rack or 2 with enterprise grade UPS systems X_X
Starlink + router + poe switch + end device load is like 500W. The big one is being able to sustain off battery for 24hrs and having enough batteries that the duty cycle is only 70% or so. That way the batteries last a long time.

500w is a tight power budget, but makes sense for your use case.
Yous s a different kind of cool - purely off-grid (potentially), from electricity and even networking.
