CAD/Art/Gaming PC, advice needed

Hey hey yall,

At the start of next year I'll start at a new job drawing CAD at an architect firm, for this as well as all my other needs (and those are plenty) I need a new rig as my current machine is about to die.

This system will be used for working at home using CAD, Drawing as well as a spot of gaming (well, more then my boss wants me to anyway). For this I came up with a plan and a budget however, since such a system is a really big spend as well as a personal first to make a CAD workstation,  I would like some feedback.

Additional information: 32GB is a lot for CAD, but knowing me, I'll be running CAD, have photoshop open because I was drawing, playing music in the background while playing a game.....
the 4 WB Black's will be run in RAID 10

Let me know what you think... I still have about two to four months to get all the funding saved up.

If you are going to use a xeon it would be worth to pair it with ecc memory, even if it's going to rise the price tag a bit. Regardless of the type of memory, go straight with a single quad channel kit, not two dual channel, as the x79 platform supports quad channel memory. A kit (quad or dual) means the sticks were tested and work together.

The Quad channel I'll have to look into, however, regarding ECC memory, though I know both CPU and MB support it, when I checked around the general train of thought was that ECC was not really worth it. But since I need to go memory shopping around it may pay to check and see what the actual price difference is. Thanks
