C-Bus (Square D) Questions

So the house we just moved into have a C-bus system. The house is wired to basically give full control over almost all electrical systems, various internet connections and the home security camera's.

I don't really know much about hows a C-Bus works but I'm very interested to learn, there a few things I would like to set up, such and enabling and disabling lights in the house and connecting the security camera up to that we log the video somewhere I was thinnking a dropbox account? is that possible? or just a big 4TB harddrive or something.

Basicaly any recomened reading/advice for you guys would be great.

I don't know anything about it, but the Wikipedia article is pretty informative.

Also looks like this FOSS Python library will be helpful:

With that you can probably write a lot of your own home automation.
