Buying whole beef tenderloin at Sams/Costco

Spend 80 bucks and do the trim work yourself and you end up with this

Things you will need:

1.)Sharp boning knife

2.) Large Cutting Board

3.) (Optional) Granton slicing knife for clean steak cuts

3.) (optinal) Vacuum Sealer

Here's a pretty good instructional video if you're intimidated by a large hunk of meat

Great value, especially if you have a vacuum sealer (will keep in the freezer for 6 months).

Tip* freeze your steaks on a parchment paper lined cookie sheet before you seal them so they don't lose their shape.
