Here's the build i've come up with so far with the suggestions of some helpful people on the forums here.

All that is missing is a micro atx case with good airflow, and a 21-23 inch monitor that preferably has a removable stand. i'm trying to get my moneys worth with this gaming/editing rig so if anyone has any suggestions/ improvements that will save me a few extra pennies, let me know!
Well what i would recommend is not buying it this week, and waiting till black friday/cyber monday sales, thats what im doing.
When it comes to cases it's all about preference, I mean you're going to be looking at this computer case. IMO corsair 350d, fractal r4, or a Bitfenix prodigy.
I know you were only asking about cases but
On a side note though would you be willing to get one 8GB stick of memory that way the future if you need more you could just buy another stick. And for the graphics card maybe look for something that has only two slots that way if you want you could add another card or something else and not have to be worried about space in the future.
are you trying to stay under $1000 or is that just under what your looking to spend on your list your already over $1k.
if you reused your current os (windows 7) you could cut about $100 off your budget or get a 120gb ssd or a 2TB hard drive.

Don't get the 4770k, Yes it is the better proc but it will not grant you an extra $100 in fps in your games. Get the 4670k. It's just as good for gaming but will save you some dough.
