Buying a Mechanical Keyboard

So after 6 years of having the same regular keyboard, I've decided to buy a Mechanical Keyboard. I was originally going to get a Crossair K70 with MX Brown but I want a red backlight. Are there any good keyboards out there within a 180$ budget that have Cherry mx brown?

I don't think you can find anything mx brown without it being a white backlight. Although there are the corsair rgb backlight keyboards. They have 16.5 million different backlight colors that you can change to. They haven't been released but it will probably be the only option for a while.

I believe Ducky sells MX Browns in a variety of LED colors... You can look into the DK9008 Shine 3 Cherry MX Browns with Red LED. Here is a link from NCIX:

I have been using a DK9008 Shine 2 Blue switches and I love this keyboard to bits... So I highly recommend Ducky.

A mechanical keyboard alone is nice but are there any Cherry mx browns out there with special features. That was one of the reasons I wanted a Crossair K70.

Wait for the corsair RGB keyboards to come out. Im sure someone can link you to linus' CES coverage. I cant do that right now because half of the internet is blocked off over here atm :D

Anyone else agree that I should get a RGB keyboard?

You can probably find a ducky with MX browns and red backlight.

Otherwise, yeah I suppose you could spend the extra money picking up the RGB keyboard.

I couldn't find any ducky cherry mx browns. When the the RGB keyboards coming out and how much will they cost?

Here is a really good site to buy mech keyboards,
