No point in waiting. If your going to mostley game on it the current stuff with ddr3 is more than enough. Plus Win 10 and DX12 will help squeeze more performance out of current hardware.
In the end i was looking at the E3-1241-V3, then i saw that the i7-4790k was only £12 more and bought that instead... it's in my pc. Rendering cad drawings is amazing now :D
If you buy now than you'd be wasting money because (insert codename here) will release in (insert a multiple of 10) years.
