Some of you may have already heard this but I didn't see it posted here so


AMD has confirmed their delay on the bulldozer FX series (which are the desktop 8 core, 6 core, 4 core processors) pushing the release back 60 to 90 days and a release of August or September

I'm not gonna lie I almost never count on anything to come out on time anymore espically stuff thats supposed to be amazing

They had some problems with performance, with the fist batch yielding worse than expected results, so they must have to create a revision before release.

Hmm, I was holding out on going sandy bridge but I don't think I can wait anymore.

well there should be more of an incentive to wait since lga 2011 will be out as well as pci e 3.0

The upgrade itch is an itch which yearns to be satisfied until red and bloodied. Maybe I'll just wait until Skyrim and BF3.

There is a chanced Intel's Sandy Bridge CPU's will lower somewhat in price sometime in the next month or so, and when Bulldozer finally comes out, AMD will realize how big of a market share Sandy Bridge has and lower their prices below those. Perhaps. Time will tell.

I allready have made a Sandybridge build, just got fed up with all that waiting :/

AMD is doing another step on the processors because the first step didn't yield expected performance!
