Hey guys I built my new gaming rig finally. Everything is plugged up and it turns on fine. All fans working including the 2 on my gpu. However when I turn it on, my tv wont detect a signal through my hdmi wire. Its driving me nuts. I havent been able to install my os yet. What do I do?!
try hooking it up to an old monitor if you have one

Hook the hdmi up to your mobo first and download the lastest drivers.
My mobo doesnt have hdmi or any display ports. Its a gigabyte 970a ud3. My gpu is the only component with any display ports.
Did you connect the 8 pin connector at the top of the motherboard. Don't be offended i did that with my first rig.

Yeh you must have the 8 pin connected to the top of the motherboard.
