Hi everyone,

As a lifelong console gamer and recently playing games on steam with my laptop. I believe I am ready to make the transition into a PC gamer. I wanted some critique/advice on my PC build that I plan on purchasing by Christmas as I have a job this summer. The games I would mainly be playing is Dark Souls 2, Diablo 3, DotA 2, and Counter-Strike Global Offensive. My question is if my build is sufficient for these types of games and are there any changes I could make to improve it.

If you are going to be buying parts around Christmas time then you should wait before setting up a parts list. I say this because in a few months there could be different sales going on that could improve your build, or new parts that could be chosen from.

Thanks for the quick reply, that seems to be a wiser option than hastily putting a build together.

I agree, pricing will fluctuate a lot between now and christmas.
