Building a pc for a mate

I'm building a gaming PC for my friend, he has a budget of $2000 (without shipping).

We live in Australia, so keep that in mind. He prefers windows 8 (gonna use startisback)

This is the partlist that I've put together so far https://www.pccasegear.com/index.php?main_page=wish_lists&wlcId=296258&action=wish_lists Anything better to suggest? He wants a 27" monitor included too.

Please suggest what changes I should make to the list.

Thanks.

What is he going to be doing with this computer?

Will he be overclocking?

Is he concerned about upgrading?

What games/programs does he use?

I would get a cheaper motherboard/case/ram/monitor, and use that saved money towards a 780 or 780 ti. I'm sure you can fit that in a 2k budget. The 770 performs really nice though; this is just a suggestion.

what motherboard/case/ram/monitor would you suggest then?

He'll mostly be gaming with the computer, as well as the conventional internet browsing. Probably won't be overclocking. He may upgrade his RAM in the future, but that is all really. He wants to play Watch Dogs aswell as other next gen games.

nevermind.. I managed to fit it in!

If he isnt overclocking, then he should be getting something like this: http://au.pcpartpicker.com/p/3CA6i

It's the same price unless shipping is different, and its a lot more powerful.

If he IS going to overclock.. then it might be a tie between the previous and this:

This is a bit more money, but more powerful and you can overclock over 4gh easily... provided you don't have horrible luck. (Quick note, wifi is built into the motherboard)

Either way, the GTX 780ti trumps pretty much everything else out there at this price range for a build.
