Building a new PC. Any suggestions?

I am deciding between two builds http://pcpartpicker.com/p/Cs83 and http://pcpartpicker.com/p/CkoF

I'm trying to keep it around $600. Any tips?

The discrete GPU and the 6 Core CPU will give you more more bang for your buck at the 600$ price mark, APU's are only good for really tight budgets and HTPC's

I'd go with the second one. The 7870 is a beast and the 6300 is a really nice CPU!

The second build is a lot better and also faster. The 7870 is a great GPU, i would recomand a GTX 660 ti. It's around 250-300 $ but you will get better results.
