Building a new gaming PC

I want to build a new gaming PC soon and i was wondering if the parts ( http://pcpartpicker.com/user/seri0usam/saved/#savedbuild_701976 ) i picked are a good choice.

This will be mainly a gaming rig and media center for my place. I will be taking the ram out of my old rig in case you were wondering why i didn't pick any. I also want to keep the cost under $1300.

comp2 > comp1. As you dont need a motherboard of that spec for a non-oc cpu.

Given any thought to an am3 build? A 8350 + higher end gpu would be in budget then.
